While there are (so many) lies around the not war with Iran, it is important to remember that it is, after all, one of the largest sponsors of terrorism in the middle east, and is responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths through its proxies (in Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Israel, Lebanon)

That's very impressive! How does the noise affect the result? Do noisier systems require more samples?
Do you need to to be in the Pauli channel approximation for this to work?

Is the expectation that peer review will be replaced by AI? What safeguards will prevent hallucinations or adversarial publishing?

Very impressive result from our group!

Ideally, yes. But in reality organizations with means poison it to affect public opinion. See for example the research of Shlomit Lir:

And also wikibias on X

They might be referring to spin qubits, which make their assumptions more realistic (but seem much further away)

Since when is Wikipedia credible?

I think that the existence and proliferation of antibiotics resistant bacteria strains proves this statement wrong. If it were simply random we would have drug resistant strains before the proliferation of antibiotics, but we only see this after and in correlation to antibiotics use.

Remember, remember the 5th of September, the "cultivate with fold-transversal S" publication plot.

Nice results! How does this method scale with the number of qubits and connectivity?

But where is the meme?

There is at least one company in which there are both Iranians and Israelis working together on quantum computing.

Is it in this national academy of science in Washington DC?

He meant that when you are looking up towards the ceiling it will be located in front of you

Why do you say that? Don't you think that there are illiberal movements on the left side that exist in academia? That there are certain opinions that cannot be voiced?

It's frightening how everyone in the US claims that the other side is doing a cultural revolution.
One kills off funding, the other prevents the pursuit of truth.
I hope science will prevail...

Try a Supernote. It's a great device for thinking and writing by hand.

But I think the utility will only be in the far future, when we learn how to run the optimization directly on the quantum device.
I think that as long as we depend on measurements for the optimization there can't be a real advantage.

I'm reading @davidbessis.bsky.social great book Mathematica, and it makes me think.
