Forgot to add, when I had bad neck and shoulder pain I went to a chiropractor. She looked at me and just said “you wear Varifocal glasses and work in an office”. I’d just started wearing them and the pains had started! She said it was a known problem.

Happy birthday. Varifocals! I use them. But in an office trying to look through the bottom half of the lens at a computer screen means tilting my head back. That caused me neck problems. The solution annoyed Health and Safety as using a lower laptop screen and not wearing glasses solved the problem.

I worked in Liverpool for 2 years for a Government Department. I enjoyed being there so much, when downsizing we moved our narrowboat there and stayed on it in the marina until our bungalow was built. There’s some great museums. And Lunya is a restaurant I would recommend.

Listening to Leicester commentary, no one else had it either 😂

We took three. Been getting it in lots of three and four choices recently. So a bad day must be due soon.

Oh dear, I’m watching the football and it’s half time, so back to analysing my list of 146 Wordles. Lairs is a better choice, as 16 results had A in the 3rd position: 8 had it in 4, 1 had it 5th. Fortunately the football is about to start again, so I’m now back to watching the TV 😂

I’m not going to count how often it was in positions 3,4,5, but if football destroys my Fantasy Football even further, I just might 😂

It was a grey day today, so what to do? Sad as we are, we keep a spreadsheet of our Wordle attempts. So what better than to count the ‘A’s 😂 Since May we’ve played 146 times. Of those (if I’ve counted correctly) 9 had A at the beginning, and 19 had it as the second letter.

I like to look at other peoples Wordle selections to try and work out what they had chosen. It’s like doing Wordle in reverse. But on this one we took four:
