I hope he had to read my tweets once on the internet and once again in his secret program.

So listen. We have this data. Showing hospital admissions for ‘resp’ infections 2x pre-pandemic. But ALL school absence discussions - see CBC! See the National last night! IGNORE growing illness as biggest absence factor (or ANY factor!). This is horrible reporting/journalism. /1

Linking attendance to grades when you willfully make them sick and don’t do ANYTHING to make life easier for them is fucking cruel. Read that on the radio. Turned the radio off to avoid this shit last night and here it is waiting for me on infoam. No attendance convos until the air is clean.

All I do is take medicine that makes me sleepy. Beta blockers. Huge doses of antihistamines. SSRIs. It’s a miracle I’m awake ever. is it nap time yet? Anyway, Here’s a photo of my dog being a good boy.

Ugh. I hope everything is okay.

It’s a different story in the ER thankfully.

This is relevant to their ERs only. The not ER side at OPH is just as bad at masking as the DECH is.

The dech ER is actually so bad at masking that people are under the impression they don’t have to mask there. The OPH ER continues to enforce masking fairly strictly. Why the big difference between the two? What gigantic shift in culture occurs on the highway in between?

A small ceramic dish with a torti cat painted on top. The rest of the dish is painted in yellow, orange and brown plaid. In the back ground there is a curtain sporting the same pattern.

We have officially abandoned the school calendar and are year round homeschoolers. I feel so fucking free. Here’s a cat treat dish I made because I’m trying to not be cranky every time I come here.

Put that rate increase directly into replacing my TV.

After 3 years of the worst power stability I have ever experience in my life one of these outages has finally busted something. Hopefully the something is wiring and not everything I own 🙂 The power came back last night … everywhere but my living room. How fun!

Hi. I don’t know what was on the highway but I would not want to breathe it in. If you are having to deal with cleaning this mystery substance up and would like some respiratory protection please get in touch. We have N95s!

Oh brother. Spew this shit elsewhere.

I just need to say that David Coon was right this morning and I don’t give a flying fuck about the provinces credit score. What I do care about is the fact that $400 bought me like 3 groceries and I’m going to need to sell a child to chase NB Power off.

Still alive. Picking up new hobbies. Here’s a candy dish I’m working on.

Oh so there WAS another option. Keeping actual humans under lights 24/7 was just the choice we were making.

I hesitate to do the math 😬 thank god for the Xolair patient support program.

Health issues related to Long COVID, even in Canada, and WITH health benefits through work, cost me over $8k out of pocket in 2025.

And I'm so thankful that I have a decent salary so I can sort of cover that, and I won't go into bankruptcy like in the US, but it's almost 10% of my take-home pay. 😭

Treating patients in hospital ambulance bay 'not acceptable care,' N.B. premier says | CBC News Horizon Health Network says dining and storage spaces are also being used as hospitals face "difficult choices" about where to put patients.

God, I am cranky about these comments from the Premier.

Putting people in an ambulance bay is not acceptable Holt says with no effort to fix it. Make. Fewer. Patients. Start at the hospital. At the very least make an effort to end hospital acquired infections and quit making stays longer.

It was a listeners question to David McTimoney on infoam Fredericton this morning with Colleen!

3 months ago 4 1 0 0

@govnb.bsky.social is banging the “chronic absenteeism” drum again. Funny that it’s peak flu season. And they’re trying to blame parents instead of illness (which is the number 1 cause of absence). I hate to say it but the Holt government has done NOTHING new for IAQ. Only continuing slow Higgs work

Unless your plan to address chronic absenteeism plans to address the chronic illness factoring in I do not want to hear it.

As of Jan 1, 2026 we are no longer taking requests for masks. We will be hosting pop ups a few times a year across the province instead. Stay tuned for that information.

You can still borrow a CR Box for your events!

I recently moved my rocking chair to be in front of the window. I’ve got to say the cats are onto something. Looking out the living room window IS a top tier activity.

I’ve been on Xolair for 3 months now. My itchiness has reduced from 24/7 to 2 or 3 days a month. I cannot tell you how much that alone has improved my mental health. Fewer skin reactions too but I’m still too afraid to try “bad” foods because my food reactions are more severe.

This doesn’t actually need an answer because deciding to homeschool our kids has ruined us financially to the point that we’ll never be approved for a car payment ever in our lives again. No regrets though. These kids are cool as hell.
