I'm looking forward what 2026 brings, and all the new teas I'll find and be inspired to create in my upcoming tea travels. All this wouldn't be possible without your loyalty, support and encouragement. Again. THANK YOU.

As we see 2025 come to an end, I wanted to thank YOU, our staff (past and present), family, friends, and customers. 2025 marks a milestone year for World Tea House, turning 15 years (on Argyle St), having our best sales year, multiple tea awards, and personally being the healthiest I've been.

We don't see many oolongs being made in India, so this high oxidized oolong is a real treat! Named after the sound of thunder storms rolling down the Himalayan mountains on to the tea farm. You can ofter watch the storms rolling down the high slopes. It's quite a sight!

I can honestly tell you that since drinking this tea almost daily, pretty much all my digestive issues have cleared up.
Taste wise it's a little funky, earthy and dank. I get a lot of old book and forest floor vibes off this tea.

ADVENTure Tea Day 23:
PuErh 2020
Every have a fermented tea? This cooked (ripe) PuErh commonly called Shou Cha, is aged 5 years after going though a wet fermentation, cooking, and drying. While I typically don't preach the medicinal effects of most teas,

The key ingredient was the Houjicha (changed from Kukicha from last year). Then the licorice root and vanilla for sweetness, and cinnamon and ginger for spice. Easily one of our more popular teas for the season.

New(ish) tea on my shelf, I made this blend last year for the Holidays and brought it back this year. Honestly, this one was a tough blend to perfect.

steep on this one to get those dried fruits fully hydrated and infused. Fruit Berry is one of our most popular cold brew teas for the summer. To cold brew simply use twice as much tea per water ratio, let brew in the fridge for 24 hours, then remove tea and enjoy cold.

Ever have a tea that tastes like a fruit punch? Now you have! This herbal caffeine free blend is packed full of fried fruits and berries, combined with a South African rooibos and Egyptian hibiscus. I recommend a longer 7+ minute

A replacement for our popular Zzzzz tea (we couldn't source all the ingredients this year because of the ongoing trade issues with our friends to the south) this tisane is sure to calm your nerves after a hectic day.
