Adding a 3.3V regulator directly to the back of a small solar panel opens up all kinds of circuit project opportunities. Just plug it in to your board and most low power microcontrollers will be happy to run battery-free any time the sun is out! ☀️

Pic of the final printed wave spring. Spring constant was measured to be around 3.3N/mm. Pretty wild to get a standard maker-level (I.e. low cost) printer to create something like this without supports.
