Both For All Mankind and From getting their planned final seasons so they’ll be completing their story in a world where everything gets cancelled before its first season finishes is something special

One Piece is spot on with how that works but anime usually follow that rule of ā€˜we don’t fully catch up because he’s some filler’

I think it should be a rule that a show shouldn’t be made unless the source material is finished because look at Game of Thrones’ ending and then we have Umbrella Academy!

Love that there’s a new Enter Shikari album today

Hate that I only found out this afternoon so I could have had it blasting all through my work day

Think they had the chance to utilise the books with episodes 7-9 and blew it with a mess/directionless trilogy. I’m at the point I’d rather just see some new stories and characters with a setting far in the past or far in the future where the clone wars/empire are almost a myth, would be cool

The likes of JJK from anime studios like MAPPA has destroyed anything animation that comes out now. (Also I love JJK and all anime/animation but don’t like what they put the artists through to get the final product)

Invincible fans: We want a new season every year like clockwork

Also Invincible fans: Man this animation sucks.

Then they whip out the comparison of a single drawn frame to an animated annual series

So The Drama was a good watch, I don’t know if it’s meant to be a black comedy or us UK audience just find anything dark overly funny but my cinema was laughing so yeah

Been loving the Absolute universe. Batman and Wonder Woman have been great, Martian Manhunter I couldn’t get into and Green Lantern is hard to keep track what the hells going on but considering Marvel started their Ultimates again, this has been much better than that!

Kinda the whole point of the Absolute comics. Has that same feeling as Marvels Ultimate universe with it being so much darker and grim. For me personally, I’ve been loving it because it’s such a different take on

I mean he had Sentry, it was right there for him and he’d been cast but then had to drop the role

I’ll often see people call something out whether it be from a TV show, a game or film but then make everyone aware they haven’t watched it but they read the wiki page??

But damn what a story. Think it does a speed run towards the ending chapters which is a shame (they really just try wrapping the story up in 2 chapters and then a quick epilogue) but other than that great šŸ‘ŒšŸ»

That’s a wrap on Invincible and yes I’ve read it over the whole Easter weekend. Now nothing can be spoiled for me

Seeing The Drama tomorrow but kinda sad that the twist was ruined by the internet. Is nothing sacred anymore, it’s been out less than a week

Great first 2 episodes!

Gave up seeing spoilers for Invincible every week so I’ve been reading it instead all weekend. Yeah I’m nearly at the end already, damn!

Played this when it came out and yeah agreed. It all didn’t help the villains were annoying (not in a good way) and it felt like forced comedy. I played split screen with my partner and it was BUGGY! We’d have to let each other know if we were opening the menu because the game would suddenly lag

I think comedies have just changed so much since streaming. They’re now not just comedy on random subject with these people, it’s now got to be action packed, explosions etc to bring in an audience which is a shame. I also partly blame Marvel because they went from some jokes to full comedies almost

I think the first is a much more solid film, where as this felt more like a game itself bouncing from one character to another, when you could have had all the characters together on the adventure. Also it’s missing Donkey Kong so lost points on that

And today I saw Super Mario Galaxy Movie (I think that’s the title?)

I get what people are saying on this one, it’s kinda messy, feels all over the place and is filled with various excitements from the games (I get it would but it sort of just rides off that)

It was fun, extreme, crazy and violent. Sadly it’s one that gets spoilt by the trailer (a lot of the funny elements were in the trailer) and the overall story (needing a sacrifice) is pretty close to Ready or Not with some slight differences

2 weeks ago 0 0 0 0

Haven’t posted about it yet but They Will Kill You was a good film. Yeah it felt very Ready or Not (and I stand by what I said that it’s weird timing to release a week after that sequel)

6. The Bride - Yeah I’ll admit I watched half of this and just couldn’t get into it and walked out, I don’t ever usually walk out but in this occasion I did. It felt so messy and weird in a bad way, like try hard weird (Mary Shelly possessing the bride character??)

5. Scream 7 - The worst Scream film in the franchise. I love this franchise and they had such good direction with 5/6 which was scrapped and they instead threw this mess together. Bad writing, bad characters, nothing new in the 30 year old franchise, just all round bad on this one

Now into the bad….

4. How To Make A Killing - From the trailer I was looking forward to this one but damn it was a straight miss. The story was awful and badly written, the main element of the film is shown in a damn montage and nearly every killing is done in the same way. Such a bad film!

3. They Will Kill You - I’ve seen the trailer so many times I wasn’t expecting much (and sort of a Ready or Not rip off), it kinda has elements of that in more ways than one but at the same time feels like if Tarantino went full all out on Ready or Not, great watch!

1. Project Hail Mary - Yeah this film was so much fun, plus space and just a great heartfelt story! Visually stunning, well written and Gosling was the perfect casting!

2. Ready or Not Here I Come - Knew I’d love this because the first is so good. The story works great and the characters šŸ‘ŒšŸ»
