The AT Protocol — atproto, for short — is a set of open rules for how social apps can talk to each other. Like email, nobody owns it. Your identity, your posts, your follows; they live in a place you control. Any app built on atproto can read/write with your permission.

Honestly I feel like the more the merrier is the right idea with STI testing at cons. "Sex Ed" still largely teaches lies about STIs and sex in general, so this most likely educates a lot of people who wouldn't be aware of the risks involved. This stuff shouldn't be stigmatized.

I need folks to understand that as little as 20 years ago it was -expected- for any queer event, of just about every nature, to offer free HIV testing and distribute safe sex materials. It has nothing to do with “it’s about sex.” It has everything to do with “We want you to be okay.”

Idealism also only gets so far.

When a group (where everyone is autistic) prioritises the struggles of whoever is loudest and most aggressive, it sets the terms for everyone.

And that’s not inclusion - it’s domination by distress.

It means the space quietly reorganises around whoever is most dysregulated in the moment.
