I remember that logic - get a good base tan so you don't burn! But even growing up in the 80s it was use the 4 spf maybe even 8 for babies! Though my one aunt would put on tanning oil and sunbath all day. I'm still shocked she doesn't have gross skin now.

Pretty much confirms coffee or death was a threat and Aziraphale took the coffee. Metatron knew Crowley would never come back to heaven but he made Aziraphale offer, because if Aziraphale had just disappeared, Crowley would have torn both Heaven and Hell apart to get him back.
