2) The more I learned about Circle the more I liked. As I understood the immense scale and nature of the opportunity (and how it dovetails with my own background and skillset), my skepticism dissolved into a full-hearted "YES!"

1) Huge congrats to Circle, whose IPO this morning on the NYSE (trading under the ticker $CRCL) was epic in many dimensions.

To my own surprise, I joined the Board less than a year ago. As someone who is not "crypto native" it took a fair amount of research... and convincing.

We saw him open for Van Morrison at Frost. Sublime.

5/ Even if you're not a fan of Eno's per se, the movie is not only about him... but about the creative process itself. Recommended!

4/ This movie will likely mark the end of our foray into the movie business, but what a joy it has been to watch Gary birth this work into the world. Unlike most works of art and certainly most movies, the film has a life of its own and will continue to evolve.

3/ We had the good fortune to see the movie at its opening at Sundance, and again at the London premiere at the Barbican (where we were joined by Peter Gabriel, members of the Cure and New Order, Lush, Sonic Youth, the Clash, etc.) and many of our dear friends.

2/ @ireneau.bsky.social got involved as executive producers when our friend @chaddickerson.bsky.social introduced us to Gary Hustwit. We were already big fans of Gary's work, so it was an easy yes. We shared the opportunity with other friends, like Tony Fadell, Ian Rogers, and Stewart Butterfield.
