When the internet came up, I had the feeling we were all exploring this new technology together, positive intent. Only later did the enshittification begin due to greed. Maybe that’s only my nostalgia though. Feels like our society has changed so much that we go straight into the greed stage now.

To me it feels a lot like around when the internet kicked off. Endless possibilities, the ideas kept you up at night and you wanted to dig into it non stop.
That kind of curious experimentation makes it hard to focus on the productive stuff. And the productive stuff is usually also kinda…boring?
