I cut this one by hand, but I think I might try getting somebody with a plotter to make a bunch of stickers out of it that I can easily apply.

The water features a UV varnish and the sand got a cut Dusted Crystal laminate.

In some positive news, I managed to set a new printer as well. A two drum Rio machine. It needs a little work but again it’s pretty close and I’m excited to get it in the studio.

I’ve got a little bit of a late night post. Life has really hit hard in the last handful of months and even though I had the studio just about set up I’m still having some troubles with the machine, but I’m confident it can be fixed.

I had trouble getting the physical space for the shop. I’ll try again soon. I’m still psyched at all the potential.

A photograph of stickers to apply to a digital duplicator drum. The different stickers name the different color inks in both the corresponding color and written in English and Japanese. In the background are various other papers and test print pages.

I made some pressure adjustments and it seems to greatly benefit the registration. And it looks like the new drum came with a neat sticker sheet. It’ll kind of be a neat challenge to collect all of these colors.
