We found community with a Unitarian Universalist church after neither of us had been part of a religious group since childhood. It’s been heartening to join with others who share are values and understand real organizing.

Bring a tent into the house. If you lose heat, set up in an interior room so you can trap the body heat in there. A blanket or pillow fort can do in a pinch.
I tried to drink a regular soda there, tasted the fake sugar. Got rid of it and gave up on soda for the trip. I would rather go without than have that. I’m better off without soda anyway.
