I did Cyclops from Xmen this year for Halloween. This was the most challenging costume to put together yet. I'm very proud of how well this all came together. Wiring the visor to light up with a pushbutton was the funnest part during this over 2 month project😎

After taking a backseat from fighting games for a while, I'm fine with never competing in a major event again. RPGs and personal projects have filled the void while mitigating stress. I still enjoy playing FGs with people, but casually now. There are more important places to grow in life is all.
Finally, someone I know has actually touched this game. Over 20 years ago, my brother and I played the translated rom because we were so far down the Chrono series rabbit hole back then. This was our first interactive novel we ever played. Radical Dreamers is wild, goofy, and serious all-at-once.

I can't believe I have slept on the Gaogaigar anime for so long. Highly highly highly recommend giving this series a watch. I'm only 10 episodes in, but you can see so many similarities that Gurren Lagann adopted from Gaogaigar. One of the peak 90s hype giant robot anime for sure.
I put together the Going Merry model from One Piece the other day. It was a birthday gift from my brother a little while ago. A bit of a pain to put together, but I am satisfied. Might replace the stickers with paint at some point.
There was some challenge with the endgame area, but not as stressful compared to a regular playthrough where you had to grind in order to survive. The most trouble was the 2-headed dragon because of its insane physical damage. Everything else is easily manageable as long as you have a healer.
I played Final Fantasy 3 Pixel Remaster while work was slow last night. Using the x4 multiplier for EXP, Gil, and Job Class points, I beat the game fully within a little over 8 hours. Extra time is from working on the bestiary. The Ikari Warriors team completely bypassed job gimmick boss fights🤌
Made some trades to get these classics CIB. Ikari Warriors II, Mega Man 6, and (of course) Super Mario Bros. 3. These take me back to the Super Kmart and KB Toys days of my childhood.
Got the bug to move most of my hobby interests from the living room to my computer room. I feel like it's time to make the rest of my house look normal and limit my fandom to a "cave." I've been at it for about 5 hours. Allowing my living room to be organized properly🤌

Leona Heidern from King of Fighters made by Kotobukiya came in the mail yesterday. I'm very happy to have cool figures of my all-time favorite fighting game characters.
I will say that the tactics megaten games for SNES are extremely mid. They have some bangers when it comes to music. SMT 2 and SMT If are really good starts. The remake of Megami Tensei 2 on Super Famicom is also good. Pretty sure the remake is "Kyūyaku Megami Tensei." Comes with 1 and 2.

A little Alex throwback from our old locals. I miss this character so much. SFV was something. Not for everyone, but meant a lot to some people who played it competitively and for fun back then.
I hope Alex becomes the best grappler in SF6 like he did in V. Just a solid mid tier character after starting from the bottom of bottom tiers. Spring 2026 cannot come soon enough. It took little convincing myself to pick up this character. Never looked back after making the choice 8 years ago💪
No more Leona in KOFXV. She's my favorite character, but she takes so much more effort compared to Heidern. Also looked into comparisons between XIV and XV in gameplay. If XVI were to take the best mechanics of both games, it would be most solid modern KOF. There are some changes that need to go
I miss playing my original King of Fighters team. Lately, I've got an itch to boot back up KOFXV. I think watching tournament matches again has reignited my interest and memories of that game. It's the one game that made me feel like a gremlin with the characters I played.
