When I was transferred back to the States, avoiding customs and duties was well understood. No one thought that anyone other than the buyer paid those fees. A tariff is a duty, just like customs. Yet I never hear anyone mention that they are alike. Use 7th grade, or lower, reading levels.
2/2 ethics then we will have a society that is unethical and that rewards greed, grift & dishonesty. We idolize the wealthy instead of the honorable
We bow to the bully and look to them for pointers. We forgive crime but not poverty. Until we choose differently change won't happen.
As long as money remains the arbiter of value for humans, we will continue to elevate those who will use any and all means to attain wealth. Do we welcome the honest & caring at our borders or those who pursue material gains? We show our priorities with our choices. If we choose money over 1/2

1st they came for my job making semiconductor chips, so I joined the USAF and then they came for my SR-71, so I learned how to code mainframes.
