End of the day, I've lived a relatively privileged life and I know people have dealt with much worse. So I'll keep trying. Trying to get back to writing. Trying to do what I can to stay afloat.

I guess trying is all we can do sometimes. Even if Yoda says otherwise.

But I also feel like a failure for not doing it.

I feel like a failure in a lot of ways honestly. And unfortunately my family has to deal with the consequences.

But failure is the great teacher, right? At least that's why we put out characters through what we put them through.

keep writing. Because that's been a safe space for me the past 5 years. But it was already hard to find time the last few years and now, with this, I've completely fallen off

And damn I feel guilty/ashamed of myself. I think about it every day. it feels unfair to write with everything else going on

It's been a frustrating year.

There's been some good and some scary.

Both me and my wife lost our jobs early this year/end of last year and things have reached a near crisis point now

We have some time but it's caused remarkable stress
