In other news, I get to meet my (not really) cousin Chad Michael - and his former co-star James - in 2 weeks. This is one of the few things I’m clinging onto in order to stay sane with all the chaos of work and real life happening.

My visit to Philly was so good this weekend. Lots of good times, good sites, good food, good friends. Last con as a 30-something and I must say, not too shabby. I especially like the second one. These will definitely last me until the next time I see the tall boy again. 🩵

AND I’m getting photos done tomorrow evening for my birthday and to celebrate the new decade…and to have some professional photos of myself made. The only other ones I have are family pics every few years and ops from cons. 😂

Today marks the last month of my 30s. At this point 10 years ago, I was terrified & sad about turning 30 and getting older. Now I’m in a much better & healthier place - mentally, physically, & emotionally. 40 is just a number and I feel like some really good times & days are ahead in this decade. 🩵

I tried to do a cool, creative op for one of my pics this weekend. It didn’t quite turn out but that’s okay! The experience was great, if not a little awkward/chaotic. When I get the jpeg (hopefully in a few days/next week?) I’ll maybe share it, depending on if I can edit it a little. 😂🤞🏻

Which of my friends will I be seeing at the Austin con this weekend? I’ll be there on Saturday to get my (yes, another….) JP fix. 🤗

It’s always a good weekend when it involves Jared hugs. It was so lovely to see him again. In case you weren’t aware, basic hugs are the best. 🩷

Jared was and looked very lovely today. The hugs were lovely. He seemed excited to see me and my girls. 🩷 Now time to rest, grab some food, & watch the Ewan/Hayden panel later this evening. (Also take off my shape wear to give my body a break before I do it all again tomorrow.)

Once again, it’s one of those times of year when I am eternally grateful that I have my own place & I can leave the family whenever my meter (of bs, annoyance, overstimulation with the kids yelling, etc) hits zero. I can truly come and go as I please. It’s so nice, y’all.

Trump has no constitutional authority to take us to war with Iran without authorization from Congress, and Congress has not authorized it.

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.

Has anyone booked a trip from any of those group-solo traveler companies? What was your experience with them and which one did you use? I’m looking into trying them out next year-ish (maybe UK or Iceland to start out) and company recommendations/suggestions would be helpful.

When you accidentally and unintentionally become important at work and you come back from being on PTO for a week…

Today marks 10 years at my current employer (acquisition of the original company included). I’ve moved up in the ranks and it feels like I’ve lived at least 100 different lives since I started, both professionally & personally. It’s been a wild ride and…wow. Cannot believe it’s already 10 years.

I’m so tired of everything. I wish I could go back to October and do the last few months over.
