The program I ran (based in a local govt) we always asked what priority was identified by the client/person).
The array was huge from helping to pay rent, escort services & an overseas flight to see a dying loved one.
We made it clear that the $ was limited & once used was finished.

The NDIS should NEVER have been privatised.
Long, long ago the pilot program was able to purchase many, many hours of service or pay for/contribute to a service, appliance or other need/desire/assistance, or one off need/want as prioritised by the recipient.
