So in short, Jax and Kinger really need to talk in a two-sided conversation, rather than simply father and son.
and everyone whom he knew back home are likely dead or have moved on (his parents, dog, whatever friends and neighbors he had and the rest of C&A employees).
- They may not have any property remaining (Kinger's car and house are likely damaged or gone. Jax's car might still be there but no house.)
You ever realize that Jax and Kinger actually have a lot in common when it comes to going back home?
- Both have lost someone dear to them in the circus
- Both have no one to come back to (albeit in Kinger's case it's because he's been in the Circus for 18 years- [thread continued]
3. What would realistically happen if a person puts on the headset twice? The programmers very likely would've tried and even if they thought nothing happened the programming files would absolutely prove that something did happen and the programmers would've made changes to the program already.
2. Queenie joining the Circus would make no sense if Kinger and the original programmers weren't trapped. She didn't work at C&A and their dialouge implies it wasn't planned, so unless Kinger was trapped physically in some way she would've never considered joining.

I'll throw my two cents into the pile and say that the SOMA Theory cannot be true for several reasons:
1. Caine explicitly referred digital hallucinations as a consequence as "the mind's transition to the digital plane".
