Have you ever embarrassed yourself in front of someone you look up to?
Because I just accidentally sent someone who inspired me to start making Fallout content a funnybunny ship video. And that’s my first ever message to them.
It’s all well and good having a special interest until you’re up at 5am crying because you can’t attend a celebration for said interest that’s in a completely different continent.
The amount of times I start to make a video, try to find an image or source to a fact that has plenty of sources, only to find a primary source that proves that to be untrue is frustrating. It’s often the videos I think will be simple that end up like this.

Posted on new video on TikTok and YouTube, hoping to make a new series called Real-Life Counterparts where I discuss the IRL locations that inspired the in-game versions. My first one is about Devil’s Hole and the rare pupfish that live there.
It honestly sucks so much that the US is losing TikTok. So many people are going to lose a source of income and it makes it harder to reach people.
I’m trying to be more organised with my videos this year since it’s not unusual for me to finish the video the day of posting. Let’s hope I can actually stick to this.

Turns out it was a chest infection. The doctors have given me some stuff to help and hopefully I’ll be on the mend soon.
I wanted to post more about New Vegas Day and Fallout in general when I got home but I ended up getting sick…again, despite all my precautions.
Ah well, hopefully I’ll be better soon and back to it. You can’t keep me away from making Fallout content.
I think we can all agree that anyone who actually uses the phrase ‘DEI’ to complain about video games (or anything) just shouldn’t be taken seriously.
The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.
As much as I enjoyed Vegas and Goodsprings, it’s so nice to be back in the UK after everything that happened in the last 48 hours.
This week in Vegas has been amazing but getting really bad food poisoning, ending up in a US hospital and having to rebook a flight for the next day was an interesting way to round it all out.
Nothing has cemented my love for this community more than going to the Fallout celebration. It was so nice being around everyone and stepping out my comfort zone to talk to strangers. I’m glad I connected with so many people and I hope to carry that on into my everyday life.

First time gambling in Vegas and I managed to double my money. It’s very addicting though, I’m glad I stopped when I did but regardless, I had a good time.

A few #Fallout fans had the same idea & ended up at the Atomic Testing museum today. It was nice bumping into them.
The museum was amazing. Fascinating, interesting and terrifying at the same time. If you’re into nuclear testing/weapons, I would recommend if you’re in the Las Vegas area.
