I just finished DMing my first long homebrewed campaign.
It lasted 3 years and I'm feelin pretty good about it.

Sawyer knows of Atalanta, she has some memories of her life as them but not enough to really know much about them. She has asked some ancients while in Elpis and she got some stories. In the end Atalanta is a mystery to her, and wants to know more about them.

Anyway. I made more than a full parties worth of OCs because my fav final fantasy is 6 and I love ensemble casts

They wouldn't get tired of each other but they do enjoy a good fight

Sawyer is my WoL I write lore of her as that, but I know there are people who write their character as not the WoL.
So for those people I'm curious, why do you write your characters as not the WoL?

Sawyer used to have two siblings in her first life. They were a lot like Alphinaud and Alisaie though not as studius. Kinda the reason Sawyer treats them like siblings.

I kinda like goofy until the end when they've had enough being silly and lock in.

I always liked her water 7 outfit. The one with the blue shirt and tie.
Also her enies lobby outfit.

Sawyer had many mentors, but after EW she kinda picked up a kid and started mentoring them...unintentionally. she rescued Shez from a storm and they ended up on an island in the south seas. Sawyer started teaching her how to survive like her father did and just kept going when they got off.

Gogonan held the line until he couldn't anymore, he was captured and held in the same place as F'erru and Raubahn. He was severely weakened while imprisoned and died when the poison was filling the dungeon.
Sawyer went on a rampage when she found his body.

Rothe was the party healer at the time, he also carried Sawyer out while trying to heal her wound, but got separated when the tunnel was collapsing. He broke his leg and went into hiding while he recovered. He hated how things went, especially frustrated at how a fellow Ala Mhigan turned on them.

As for her adventuring party (OCs) at that time.
F'erru was paid by Lolorito to make the sleeping potion and to keep quiet about it. When all hell broke loose in the banquet she regretted it and helped get the scions out. She hasn't forgiven herself for that, and took Sawyer a long time to move on.

And at the end of all that, Lolorito basically got away with it, people closest to being family were lost, her best friend had betrayed her, another close ally went missing until StB, and another died.
Sawyer was livid and does not go to Ul'dah anymore, unless she has business there.
