i have no idea why they can’t support pass back fares for all taps within 17 minutes, but alas. that’s ventra for you.
this is related to having an unlimited ride pass activated on your ventra card.
you can tap more than once within a few minutes at the same station and it’ll charge a pass back fare, but after 3 ish minutes and before 17 minutes you’re locked out from tapping again to prevent fare fraud.

there is simply just not enough parking
been a while since we’ve seen basically every metra line incur delays for a vague “operational” reason
that’s legit.
there’s an N77 in the options too for the belmont bus, but even traveling during “owl” service i’ve never seen it in real world use.
most of the time on “night service” routes that follow the same routing (and maybe just stop short) operators override the bus to show the normal route number and not the N#, hence basically never seeing the actual N22 head sign.
99% chance operator chose wrong head sign over all else.

As a long-time Regional Connect Pass user, I've created a quick flowchart to help you purchase the new Regional Day Pass. Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty simple!
my longest ComEd outage was when they scheduled an outage for line work, 5 weeks in advance, with very clear, understandable communication ahead of time.
they planned for 6 hours.
it took less than 2. it was great.
