It should be noted that when I presented the 504 plan to the counselor at our new school in CO, he looked at it in disbelief. Said he'd never write a plan like that. I told him be glad he never had to. That this is how some of us have to protect our kids. All he could say was "I'm so sorry".

..so I'd have legal documentation if I had to sue cuz their school decided that the MT law allowing Christian kids to target & bully trans kids was more important than the safety & success of all students. School staff being subversive to protect kids are my favorite.

Hats off to the behavior specialist at our MT school who wrote in my child's 504 plan that "their identity as an LGBTQ person is directly tied to their wellbeing & thus their ability to succeed academically"...
