I am over the moon with excitement to announce that I have signed with Dzanc Books for the publication of my memoir, Delicate Machine. I am so grateful to Annie DeWitt (Enliven) who has been such a champion of it since day one.

Read Sophie Newman’s interview with “Tacoma” author Aaron Burch. They talk about the last 20 years of the literary scene, writerly obsession, autofiction, and more.

This is me!

Had a super fun chat with Sophie Newman on zoom and now here it is in Electric Lit. In her intro, she calls me "the Rick Rubin of online literary publishing," which seems really funny but also I'm kinda into it.

omg i love this rick rubin analogy. i'm obsessed with him.

We hopped on the B68 to the Nitehawk Prospect Park for a matinee; the bus was full of families, each with a sled or two, on their way to play in the snow. Children bundled up, excited. It made my heavy heart heavier, but heavy with lightness.

I already have a good list, and several anthologies, but thought I'd ask here: What are your favorite poems about nature -- for high schoolers?
