doing so is also one way to help protect me and other immunocompromised people

the best way is to wear your mask (by which, I definitely mean respirator--the kind with head straps) everywhere.

I genuinely mean this. It's not a joke, it's not a bit.

I'm alive because of Medicaid, SNAP and SSI. Very few who do what I do have ever had an EBT card.

I have an obligation to the people who rely on those programs.

New Trump EO Meant to Block Gender Affirming Care | Matthew Cortland Get more from Matthew Cortland on Patreon

Quick read of the 🏳️‍⚧️ Trump EO:

"they'll use the surveillance system ostensibly set up to find 'pill mills' to find prescriptions for puberty blockers and hormones that might be going to a trans patient.

Child abuse? Child abuse is only what they say it is.

These are very, very dark times."

So what they are saying is if people know their rights they can’t do anything

and transmisogynistic!

in 1933, one of Hitler's first actions as Chancellor was to burn the world's medical/research knowledge on trans people while Gobbles made a speech to 40k transmisogynists.

To be clear, this is how we obtain up to date information about outbreaks, new guidelines, new research opportunities and findings, new drug approvals. Without these we are moving in the dark and hindering progress #IDSky

Because ICE do not have an unrestricted legal right to enter patient care areas, hospitals and EDs must work now to take control their access.

If a hospital area is closed to the public - it can be closed to ICE.

ICE agents should be treated like any other visitor - with restricted access.

yes, I know what skrmetti is all about. but the broad sweeps you're referring to, to get to the conclusion above, don't work

1 year ago 0 0 0 0

with how medicine exists, that won't work. also skrmetti is <18 only. won't change adult medicine
