Positive Somebody is partnering with NAMI Lansing to host a few Man Up 2.0 events. The first one will be Friday, May 8th, from 7-9pm at Lansing Makers Network. Sign-up will come soon! 

We are excited to hold a safe space for more conversation and connection around men's mental health.

MAN UP 2.0

Our first MAN UP 2.0 event of 2025 is officially happening. 

Join us Friday, May 8th, from 7-9 pm at the Lansing Makers Network.

This event is free and open to men of all ages. 

Our event hosts will be Metro Malik and Paul Schmidt from UnoDuece Media. 

What to expect:
Snacks and drinks
A brief speaker on men's mental health
Information on organizations that truly need men to get involved (volunteering is great for your mental health)
Connection, community, and a safe space
Hands-on projects that support Lansing Maker programs

Everyone will start by making a tiny sword, and then you can choose one of the following projects:

Build a wooden candy-hopper dispenser
Create an iron basket-twist fidget using blacksmithing techniques
Make a mystery pewter item
Sandblast a customized cup

While this is a free event, donations are welcome to support more MAN UP 2.0 events throughout the year.
