american healthcare is a joke. we all know this. i hate being 26 and scared for my heart. i hate feeling like im not being taken seriously. i’m genuinely scared i might have a heart attack or fucking die. i don’t know what to do anymore

i don’t know if this is possibly long covid or something else. i don’t know if im overreacting and overthinking. what i do know is that these chest pains also lead to fainting, and ive already face planted more than once because of that. what if i injure my head more severely?

i’ve had tests. and monitors. and blood drawn. and no answers other than i need to see a cardiologist. how am i supposed to feel when im put on a waitlist and then they cancel it and put me on a longer waitlist? and all i can do is just hope the pains will go away (they don’t)

i’ve been having heart issues for over a year, had to wait 6 months for a cardiologist appt just for it to get canceled, and that doctor is booked out for the majority of the year. no joke have been so stressed out about not being able to get healthcare and possibly dying from that
