Post project crash is real and it's awful. I get that between big woodworking or leather projects too. Have yet to find out how to mitigate it

Fun fact: I only found out about the gender implications of that word when I said it in reference to the transmission of my hs team's robot in front of a lesbian from the Catholic school team at a regional competition. I was surrounded by like twenty NASA engineers all saying that shorthand

Same in South Dakota. Our document law also kneecaps public funding to universities and art galleries who acknowledge anything other than the gender binary, and there's a Senate bill with sweeping and negative parental rights to out queer kids to parents advancing alongside it.

That's at least very easy to fix. I'll inflate them a little higher and try again.

Knees feel much better riding than walking the same distance, it's just intense muscle soreness from my ass down and a serious stitch. Downhill to work is fine but going back home up hill feels like I'm doing wind sprints in sand.

This makes me feel really really unfit, but I know it's not that and I'm just really a ditz on my bike. I can paddle ten miles in a canoe like it's nothing but riding my bike a half mile to work and back is pretty hard. Do hills really affect things that much or do I need to get gud?

I don't know much about O Scale nor Menards' cheap trains business model but I sure wish they have a Costco "if you raise the price of the hot dog I'll fucking kill you" energy in response to tariffs because it'd be nice. I know that's not likely but I also think the dog is in charge. #modeltrain

Had a similar thing happen back in January. @dustycymbre.bsky.social noticed a weird charge on their card and it turns out our fencing teacher accidentally saved their card info when we used it to buy dinner on his phone a few nights before. He ordered some Cold Stone with doordash 😂

a medieval style digital drawing of an androgynous brown-skinned knight on horseback on a hill, stabbing a long gold spear into a blue dragon on the ground. the knight has a gold halo behind their head and wears a suit of silver armor with a nonbinary flag striped tunic and a trans flag as a cape. their horse is white, with blue tack with trans pride trim. there is black gothic text at the top and bottom of the image reading “A world without trans people has never existed and never will.” there’s an ornate pale blue border around the image, filled with pink and blue scrollwork, gold hearts filled with colorful flowers, a smiley bat, two smiley moles, and two smiling frogs holding up trans flags.

They do and it's the cutest thing ever. Tigers have especially loud chuffs and it's adorable.

And to make something clear:

I know this isn't something that renters have the agency to do. But until more people understand that an EV plugged into one of the most ordinary household electrical circuits will get at least 100 miles of driving range overnight, the easier this future sounds.

He's a really great video essayist. Most of his essays do loop back to video games, but he's also got some good ones about other topics. This is a favorite of mine youtu.be/h5Y8whMzlwo
