"Civil society actors, especially in the diaspora, have a role to play. We must firmly stand against the war and impunity. This including condemning violence against civilians committed by both parties." @mohanedelnour.bsky.social adds importance of supporting those documenting on the ground.
When asked what gives him hope, @mohanedelnour.bsky.social: "I know as soon as this war ends, civilians won't be silent. Civilians have been the de facto govt and have been running the country while the two parties are fighting," referring to ERRs, resistance committees, and revolutionary forces.

Inspired by the changemakers who peacefully took to the streets in 2011 across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and who have continued to take to the streets, online, and in diaspora and exile since, TIMEP was founded twelve years ago today, on February 14, 2013.
After 54 years of brutal Assad regime rule and 14 years of war, Syrians deserve to be able to re-envision and rebuild a Syria for all Syrians. The only way to do so is for sectoral sanctions to be lifted.
As the Trump admin sets its Syria policy, this must be a top priority.
