NYTimes negatively frames yesterday’s No Kings protests with the headline: “A Challenge for ‘No Kings’ Protests, the Third Time Around: Organizers want this to be largest protest yet. But is hitting a number enough to deliver an effective anti-Trump political movement?” Photo of protestors and two American flags below the headline.

Between this headline and the “primal scream that fades into a whimper” line in the article, what are we to say but that the NYTimes’s current editorial standards disqualify it as a “newspaper of record.”

School districts should cancel their subscriptions. This isn’t news. It’s agitprop at best.

Presbyteries do ordain deacons and elders when a congregation initially forms and the congregation has elected deacons and elders. Worshiping Communities don’t have a session, but must be under a council (a session or presbytery G-1.0104). Seem that whichever they are under is the ordaining body.
