Bloody immigrants coming over here saving people’s lives.
Thank you to all the NHS staff who made this possible. We really do appreciate everything you do for us.

We need to invest properly in our NHS

I see this all the time, we don't need more managers we need more front line staff. But those staff need uniform, drugs, equipment, work stations , hot water, pay... this is done by the support staff and their managers. The hidden backbone of the NHS

Totally with you, It's that I find personally when I question people they become defensive and try to demean other's points of view or opinions. I was told don't say their product is cheaper. It less expensive than ours because....

Yes, and also those who might need the information in other languages, or spoken as they are uable to read. I consider it each time something is produced. Should more organisations, yes of course, inclusiveness and accessibility should be a preset

I would also add that we do not question the information we are given. Questioning is not disagreement, it's not trying to disregard your point of view, it is merely part of truly understanding the information being given

My favourite opening line to hear when someone calls me on Teams. "I've got a quick IG question for you". And I keep pet unicorn's.

I love a bit of calypso Christmas. Used to enjoy carols being sung in other traditional ways. Mongolian throat singing was the most "interesting"

But we need to make those in the public sector understand the risks, this needs to be done at grassroots

So, is all phishing training ineffective, or are we talking simulated phish. Should we not try, or just leave people to the mercy of social engineering 🤔

It is becoming more fashionable. The mobile providers need to up their game.

As a long term NHS worker I am worried that the next 12 months will see this increase. With 1.7 million staff members it's a huge area to cover security wise.

Not only disrupted, but caused patients to be redirected to other hospitals. Delaying treatment for those in emergency situations. Also the knock on effect at the other local receiving hospitals

What can be achieved by taking out the fire and ambulance communications other than causing anxiety and potentially loss of life.

I feel that this will become more common place. Health and social care are being targeted more often, unforgivable

Forgive me, as you may note from my profile pic, I'm more into dad jokes. Like, what do you do if you see a spacemen, park in it man (groan).

No, i agree that, and with bringing back into the fold, and in essence that's what I am saying. But it is always good to get another perspective (on any subject).

Try looking through the lens of you and I are the entire data security team in our organisation. We find a staff member doing this, what action would you suggest we take?

Thanks Charles for picking this up as a debate, and not an argument. My argument is that if someone is going to these lengths just to get around a monthly sim phish, what else are they prepared to do. Are they circumnavigating other security settings

No it doesn't and you are correct you have the right to be annoyed, but as someone who likes to think of those that may be influenced by what people say on this subject and others I thought i would ask. Have a great day

Okay, and is every organisation like that? If it was surely we wouldn't have ransomware attacks. You may be lucky or unlucky to work in such a closed down environment but think of those in places that have been hit, and subsequently have no job?

Actually, I don't, I am sorry that the team looking after your system has made it so difficult. I can't apologise for them, but as with all things in life please don't just group us altogether. I hope your organisation learns that we need staff to be onside, not looking for workarounds
