Kowethas an Yeth Kernewek needs a new Treasurer to: - set up payments online and get approval from a second signatory - gather and keep evidence of all receipts and payments - administer our bank accounts (Charity, Instant Access & Notice Savings) - liaise with our payroll accountants and pay employees, HMRC and Nest - issue regular reports for Kowethas, Rosweyth and REVIVE (three-year EU Horizon funded project) - issue financial reports at year end for the whole CIO and Kowethas - present the financial report at the AGM (in early February) - advise on budgeting and answer financial queries All of which takes half a day a week on average, but more at month and year end. Meetings are held largely in Cornish so this is chance to speak and hear more Cornish. This is a voluntary role supporting Cornish Language events, book sales and publications and more.
