I'm quite partial to this one

199 is done, now 200 is all that remains. This next video might just be the end of me.
God damn Bluesky, not even letting me joke about my taxes
Guess who just got his taxes done
I would like to make a few declarative statements about art styles in gaming. Because the topic frustrates me.
1. Realism is an art style
2. There are more art styles than simply realistic or cartoony. There are a lot of styles within these two categories
3. Neither is inherently better or worse
I saw there was some discourse on Twatter about why YouTube game reviewers don't do the whole "comedy focused, skit-filled, story driven" reviews with like, evil doppelgangers and such anymore
Simple answer, we outgrew that shit. If you don't enjoy making it, it won't be sincere. Just how it is.
I know I'm not the first to point this out, but this was literally my first thought when watching the latest episode of Invincible.
Me: Literally couldn't sleep and decided to give up on it
Also me: Re-records half a script due to subpar audio in said sleep deprived state
Why do I do this to myself?
It's so refreshing to work on a project I'm legitimately passionate about. Piecing together the story of Eurocom through various interviews has been some of the most fun I've had producing a video in ages.
You know, I'm not really into cartoons, but I would watch the shit out of a Jeff The Shark animated series
I will only ever focus on actual issues. Not this unhinged meaningless claptrap sold to you by a bunch of grifters. Because I don't believe what you believe. I don't even consider myself woke (by their definition), because I believe having basic morals and accepting others shouldn't have a label.
Kind of amusing to me that whenever I "fail" to bring up anti-woke talking points in my videos, there are people who take it as a slight against them. As if their unhinged beliefs are so irrefutable, that me not bringing them up must mean something devious. As opposed to what it actually is...
I was replaying XCOM Enemy Unknown (Or enemy within, but the distinction doesn't matter) a couple weeks ago, and decided to spice things up by changing the lists that randomize the mission names; to make all the mission titles funny. These are a few of my favorite random mission names.

It's funny in a cosmic sort of way, in an upcoming video that I've already recorded for, I mentioned Highguard as an example of a live service game flop and described it as "floundering, despite good numbers day one". In the few days between recording that audio, the game shuts down. Damn.
I bought it at a convention, I don't know from who, sorry.
(E33 Spoilers)
This is probably the worst thing I've ever made
And the Taco Bell Chihuahua, and the original iteration of Spyro. Dude basically hit the random button on his career.
Big studio indie game is basically just a fancy word for AA game, but is also understandable for the average viewer.
Here's my solution, split indie into multiple categories.
"Best solo developed indie game"
"Best studio indie game with a team of ten people or less"
"Best big studio indie game"
That way Blue Prince, Silksong and E33 can get recognized at their level without unfair comparisons.
I was just talking to a friend about the Game Awards, the biggest issue is that the categories are bullshit, especially as it pertains to Indie games, because what it means to be Indie is vague. E33 and Silksong are both independently funded, but are different levels of the same thing.
My wall of art is complete
Is it just me, or does my portrait of Verso have the same energy as a portrait of Jesus?

Well, after sacrificing two days to the gods, I finished God of War: Sons of Sparta. I can confidently say it is probably my second least favorite god of war game, and simultaneously the overall worst game in the series. Despite liking it better than ascension, Ascension is a less flawed game.
It's more complex than this obviously, but there's no denying that whenever you see someone talking about "what a time to have been alive" it always coincides with when they grew up. Everybody feels that way about their era. Every era is special, but your era isn't more special than other's eras.
So I've been playing Expedition 33 at the request of my friends that have been bugging me to play it.
Last night I just got to the end of act one...
I've been on my feet for 10 of what is going to end up being a 13 hour day at my second job. This is the third of three 13 hour days in a row. My back hurts, my feet feel like they're on fire, and my knees sting. Yet somehow, all that still isn't as painful as this game has been
Why the fuck did I make this?
