I only started to feel comfortable enough to officiate as of this week. My injury had a lot of associated nerve pain, so my life had been pretty miserable for the majority of my time off skates, so attending practice was not an option. Probably getting back to coaching and officiating this week 🤞🏼

I miss roller derby. A terrible back and hip “complication” (see: injury) have kept me from doing what I love for a month and a half so far, and is still ongoing. The injury itself is almost gone, but the strengthening hasn’t even started. I can’t wait to get back on skates
