Yes, I've been missing, a bit disheartened with all these injuries.

From Training today -
- Redman completed the session
- Smart and Tsatas seem like the other ins.
- Davey trained in defence
- Perkins, Hobbs and Gresh in the red twos team.
- Ridley only did half the session, hoping just managed

It looks that way from a distance

Training notes - 20/5/25

- Strong focus on tackling technique
- Gresham completed the full session
- McKay and Reid on light duties
- 2nd straight week with Cox unsighted - big concerns now🤕
- Huss and Sweid trained again with the boys
- Clarke being tried on a wing.

Our VFL players. Half back, mid and half fwd. Only really Nyko is worth a look as a mid season pick IMO

- Guelfi back in full training just had a bandage on the hammy to protect the scar.
- Langford completed the full session he will be back in.
- Caddy, Marto and Perko on light duties
- Parish, Clarke and Caldwell moving well on rehab oval
- No Cox
- Goldy is right to go

- Langers did warm up before skills and running on other oval
- Guelfi did skills, marking and running, getting close
- Cox & Parish jogged laps, hearing Cox did a calf also last week 🤌
- 2 Acedmey kids trained with us in Sweid & Huss.

Sweid likened to Dion Presita in build

In the pre season he was. Now he needs to find form in the VFL. But he was looking good pre injury

How can someone improve their contested marking if out injured and unable to contact train?

Yes, since he has been injured he has turned into Wayne Carey.

- Wright and Parish trained too, they should play in the VFL practice game
- Guelfi slow running laps
- Cox fully trained

- ADW some midfield time at training, continues to impress

More a recovery session today. I'm sure the review was brutal going off Brad's comments today

- Langers and Wright back running, Wright more progressed (might see him just after the bye)

- Cox also training with non contact cap.
- a lot of 1on1 coaching with Edwards, I suggest he comes in.
- Hayes doesn't seem like he will

5 goal win v Pies

- Wright hurt (ankle?) Couldn't put weight on it.

- Most of the new draftees did well.

- Johnson the stand out, just class, maybe 25 plus touches off half back. 👀

- Saady very strong in the air and great run.

- Edwards a few goals but didn't dominate

- Cox, Parish and Davey all increased their training. The last 2 doing kicking now

- Squad of 26 did main training the others will play VFL tomorrow.

- Wright, Edwards, Menzie, ADW, Johnson and Nguyen will play VFL with the usuals. Hayes and Goldy will not

- Johnson kicking is very silky, smoky for a half back role in the future I feel

There is VFL practice game at the Hangar 10am Saturday.

Might be a good opportunity to get some run in the legs of some underdone players.

I.e McKay, Rids, Redman to name a few

- A best 17/18 sperated from the rest today.

- The rest - 2MP, Jones, Hayes, Roberts, Saad, Hobbs, Edwards and Setters - these guys will fight it out for remaining 3 - 4 spots.

Yeah its a concern, he can't get going.
