PSA: If you're using Quad9 for DNS (9.9.9.9) and noticing your internet lags, try another DNS option. Using SmokePing, I noted that Quad9 was dropping packets like crazy. Switched to a local recursive dns server (w/DNSSEC): Unbound paired with AdBlock, issue is resolved.
