Does (and should) art have rules?
We talk about it this week on IMAGINATION & JUNK, the transatlantic podcast about #creativity - get it where you get your #podcast supplies!

Really digging the cast of the new street fighter movie
Advertmania!
Black and white houndstooth jacket, brows waistcoat, green patterned tie , round sunglasses
On my way into the west end to do my thing, in my new thrifted jacket, and a very old YSL tie that was a gift from the great Tony Anthony for my 21st birthday.
If you like what I make, please read this!
I do, of course, have several friends who have, over the years, made a living being in small things like jars and boxes, so YES!
Thanks!
I'm really looking forward to this!

@schmutzie.com thanks for pushing me to do this!
So - this is not the easiest thing to write, but here it is - I’m shutting down this substack. More and more, substack has made it clear that they’re willing to platform the absolute worst people, because their hate brings revenue, and that’s not a nice thing to be associated with. You know what they say, if a nazi comes to a bar and they don’t throw them out right away, then next time they’ll bring their friends, and then it’s a nazi bar. Feels like this might be becoming a nazi bar. But - GOOD NEWS - I’ve always had a patreon running alongside this, so I’m just going to publish the same stuff over there instead of here. That means regular bits of writing, photography, and the monthly installments of “Ten Gigs” my selective memoir. EVEN BETTER NEWS - I’m going to make all payments on patreon totally voluntary - if you want to pay, you can, but if you don’t want to (or have already paid for substack for a year), then you get the same content for free. Hope that allays any financial annoyances. Sorry for the frustration. I’ll make the change monday or tuesday next week. Hope you’re understand, and I hope that I see you over at my patreon.
Actual announcement about my substack!

Ooh that's a good one. SUPLAYYYYS
J D Vance should be more careful when talking about couches
Yeah I hear ya
I should probably shut down my substack and post the stuff to my patreon instead, right? Will you join me there if I do?
a photo of me, a middle aged white man in a brown three piece suit, stand ong the stage of a large theatre, with a cup and saucer on my head and a grin on my face. dont ask. long story.
This was last night.
Somehow I have made a lifelong career out of finding ways to monetize silly rubbish like this.
Can recommend!

It is, of course, yet another photo of me. sorry. this time shot from behind at the moment of climax of my cigar box balance trick, with me dramatically catching the full martini glass in a black widow pose. spot lights. shiny stage. nice suit. happy place.
Fly halfway around the world to do my one man show to a lovely audience in an 800 seater? Don't mind if I do!
Thanks for a delightful time @cunardline.bsky.social
Me looking smug in suit and tie and shades drinking good coffee outside in beautiful gardens by a pool. Sorry.
Good morning from Guatemala, where the coffee is good.
He's holding the sword wrong. And doing everything else in his shitty life wrong too, of course. But also, the sword.
Coincidentally, yesterday I finalised writing the most hilarious joke ever written. Far too dangerously funny to release to the public. It's definitely true though, and not just a way of begging for attention and money from the gullible.
HARD AGREE
A Fuji instax camera with silver Gaggia espresso branding. I just took the badge from an old broken coffee machine and laid it on top of the camera but it looks good and now i want it to somehow be real, even though I don't know what it would be.
Just out here confusing hipsters
