What bothers me is the constant doomerism and assholes who do nothing but make everyone else as miserable as they are.

There are plenty of things to criticize Disney for without making shit up or pretending that the other studios are any better.

It's interesting how the people who make hating Disney their whole personality always seem to base it on shitty internet discourse or sequels instead of the actual shitty things they do.
 
They also seem to treat the other studios like these saintly underdogs.

Maybe Star Trek and Spongebob come the closest? Same with South Park, though that one is much more negative.

I don't think you'll ever have a show that comes as close to matching The Simpsons' huge cultural impact on society.

It had a huge impact on the sense of humor for an entire generation, mine included, and it's uncanny how many quotes and jokes still remain relevant today.
