Its just that in this instance there seems to be a wave of people who act like they 'respect' furries and the community, but focus purely on the monetary aspects (fursuits), while being extremely backhanded about the actual fandom.

Sorry if I came off really annoying with this. I just really hate when people outside of our community try to speak on it, when they have absolutely no idea what they're talking about. I hate when people who don't understand, and will *never* understand...try to act like they're saying something.

This probably wouldn't bother me so much if my social life was mainly rooted in the fandom, but this shit is my irl best friends see online, and they aren't furries. I hate knowing that their perception of my community is definitely skewed by these slop videos. (4/4)

Related, hate how the outside conversation about the fandom is purely centered around money. It's either talking about expensive fursuits or porn artists "making bank".

I genuinely don't know what's happening and it's extremely upsetting.

I'm not feeling particularly bad, it's just that when I look at my own art or art that I normally would love, I instead feel either nothing or a weird dull anxiety in my chest.
I also feel absolutely no drive to work on art even unrelated to kink. I can't think of anything to draw whatsoever.
