Any idea who represented us at it? You'd think a straight forward question like this would provide an answer ... and yet! www.oireachtas.ie/en/debates/q....

Statement on The Hague Group Meeting on Accountability and the Enforcement of Intl Law in Palestine. 4th Mar '26.

Ireland attended this meeting. So, I'm assuming that the Occupied Territories Bill will be passed in full in the coming days. Because that's what they just agreed to.

She REALLY shouldn’t be talking about children, all things considered.

Great article but to clarify - it was written by Sarah Clancy and not by Andrew Hamilton (impossible to tell from how it appears!)?

I'd like to remind companies, clubs etc considering if they should leave X. The material is illegal under Irish and EU law. No matter what this government is saying you can still be in trouble down the road. Limit your risk of that data entering your systems and leave X. #spéirghorm

The govt are trying to bring in a law that we have to give these companies access to our digital ID via MyGov yet have no problem with one of those companies facilitating the making of child sexual abuse images? #Ireland #SpéirGhorm

€9.50 to send a glasses case from Leitrim to Meath, (some suitably fit person) could have walked it there quicker, twice. An Post - yet another Irish outfit we can all be proud of. #spéirgorm

Absolutely love that she, of course, hasn't a notion of abiding by the (made up) cosy agreement to host dinners at the Áras and be quiet. They'll be seething on Kildare Street already 😎

The EU is implementing an emergency plan for 'Military Mobility' that would effectively mean Ireland waiving checks on munitions or military equipment moving through our territory.

A wartime measure pushed through without any clear public scrutiny, undermining our neutrality.

i find it so off-putting when you watch journalists interviewing politicians and you can tell they’re friendly, all in a big club that doesn’t serve the public’s interests. access journalism is the opposite of accountability journalism.

If you go to the supermarket you will find that the prices never go down

That's because this handful of corporations not only supplies almost everything in the supermarket, they also own controlling shares in the supermarkets too

Doesn't matter if it's New York, London or Tokyo

we should all remember Paschal Donohoe as a man whose final act in public office was to give over half a billion in subsidies to an already thriving hospitality industry for no reason whatsoever

The amount of tax-payer money that these same people have handed to greyhound racing in the last few years would pay for this hospice for children with life-limiting conditions. The existence of one is contingent on private charity, the other has it's existence guaranteed by the state. Priorities.
