With AEW in Brisbane, we had a wrestling show with over 16 different companies from all over Australia taking part, which is a record breaker for us.

The crowd was red hot and you could FEEL the excitement in the air.

You bloody love to see it.

I’m guessing they cut it for time, but there was a really nice moment after the Cope/JW tag match where the crowd gave Cope a standing ovation. #AEWGrandSlam

Yeah the Collision side of it ran for 2 hours.

They did run a 2ish hour long ROH show prior as well.

Well, #AEWGrandSlam was bloody awesome.

Also the Aussie crowd sure is something special.

Welcome Bryce! Brisbane is honestly a pretty relaxed city. There is a nightlife scene but nothing unique compared to most other places. Australia Zoo isn’t too far from the venue (less than an hour). Also some of the Aussie feds have banded together for a show the night before (not at the zoo 👀)

As a local of Brisbane can I express how much nicer it will be to see Grand Slam in the entertainment centre vs Suncorp Stadium.

It’ll be summer, we just dodged 35c/95F temperatures.

That’s a super flexible mechanic, really takes a lot of the onus off the players to find the “right” clues - and I’m guessing they’d be oblivious to how it’s actually being run.
