I know you aren’t responding to my post, but no, its not always the parents (and in my case I was thinking more about wild conspiracies and my boys rejecting the Andrew Tates of the world).

The problem (one of them, anyway) is critical thinking is not popular & many parents aren’t aware enough to teach their kids how to suss social media BS. Bc my career is social media, I exposed my kids early (to the horror of fellow parents) but my kids (ages 15/13) are now discerning af.
