But they complained when Muslim voters didnโ€™t vote for them - and said it was family voting ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Were any Palestinians asked about their โ€˜only hopeโ€™? Tony Blair is an immoral man for parading this as peace.

I struggle because I was never taught like this. Not one. We didnโ€™t need scripts and commands so it feels so ainโ€™t to me as a teacher. How can I impose it on my students? It makes me know there is an alternative that works.

Iโ€™m new to teaching year 1 so my students have just moved out of EYFS. Does this project cover how best to support that transition? I know itโ€™s an area I need guidance in!

This is unsurprising but totally incomprehensible. I never thought he was working for peace but to work on ethnic cleansing - words fail me.

Havenโ€™t read the article but Iโ€™m going to go ahead and assume itโ€™s fallen because of brown immigration. When London is a city thatโ€™s shaped by waves of immigration for centuries. Sigh.

I usually read the first chapter of Wayside School to my year 2s. It always gets a comment and they remember it when we start in September.
Teaching year 1 next year so donโ€™t know if they will understand it in the same way

Try the peanut butter and cucumber slices variation. Always gets comments but was a childhood staple. Crunch and smooth all in one

Why are billionaires literally always trying to make the average and low paid worker even worse off?

I admire Gary linekar for taking a moral stand on the killing of children. Itโ€™s not political - itโ€™s just wrong. It wasnโ€™t a sorry end - he went out on a principle. Thank you

I know many couples in cousin marriages, happy and healthy. Is it just the marriage that is banned or the procreation?
If marriage only then that is targeting a specific set of people and beliefs and that should be made clear.

Emotional empathy makes a better teacher, it makes for better connections with children. Itโ€™s so hard to keep personal emotion in check when it hits close to home.

We teach children to be emotionally resilient - not to be emotionless. Itโ€™s ok for them to see you have emotions too x

Iโ€™ve been thinking I need some empathy focussed texts and activities for my class. This will be a valuable place to start. Thank you.

My internet went off yesterday. Seemed like the router stopped working. Within less than 24 hours someone came to the house and fixed it.

This is the side of Dubai I appreciate - fast service! #teachingabroad #dubailife

Love this! Such a core memory from early teen years.

I read this for A Level years ago but I still remember it being one of the first times I came across a more human representation of mental heath and it was a good perspective on an old classic. Would recommend.

Iโ€™ve used ChatGTP for a few tasks. - I feel like it was quicker to do it myself but Iโ€™ve taught the same year group for five years. Maybe if I moved years I might find it more useful.

Iโ€™m also not keen to centre AI as the creator in a job where I value my own creativity.

Wishing you all the best. I always end up liking all my classes and kids. Sometimes a slow start makes a great year. Hoping you also have a fab first week when the kids are in.

Make them wait - if itโ€™s not convenient for you. Or if there is a risk of their phone being stolen maybe go quicker. Lot of factors at play. But then, Iโ€™ve never been able to be strict about repairing broken phones either ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ
