Okay this isn’t really happening anymore so I can tell you how l had “internal ICE sources”: the 3000 very stir-crazy ICE agents were all going wild on Minneapolis Tinder. Local girls would match with them and string them along for intel. They loved to brag about what they were doing all day

Man Lights 1.2 Million Square Foot Warehouse on Fire for Not Paying Him Enough A man set a 1.2-million-square-foot warehouse filled to the brim with toilet paper on fire in Ontario, California.

"The resulting fire, which started just after midnight local time on Tuesday, was enormous, requiring 175 firefighters and 15 fire trucks to put it out."

Sigh. Just cancelled our recurring order, which was probably costing them more to ship out here than they were making anyway. I will miss your fake hazelnut aroma terribly, Philtered Soul.

Philz Coffee Partners with Freeman Spogli for Next Phase of Growth | News Landing | Freeman Spogli

I will guess that Philz is about to attempt a nationwide rollout and they're starting out by mopping up any remaining traces of local flavor. Will there be new non-Prideful flair to be worn by employees? Will there be a minimum number of pieces of flair?

Bay Area-based Philz Coffee to remove Pride flags, all other flags from its locations A coffee controversy is brewing after Philz Coffee says it's removing not just Pride flags, but also other flags and decor as well, to be inclusive to all customers. Many of those customers are upset over the new policy.

Eight months after selling to private equity, Philz Coffee will remove all Pride flags. Yes there's some mealymouthed droning about "everyone who walks through our doors deserves to feel welcome and safe," but man this really stings.

I think not enough people understand that the pushback against renewables and EV's is money.

Without getting too in the weeds: renewables cannot ever be as profitable as oil and gas.

EV's don't make as much money as gas guzzlers.

That's it. That's all you really need to know.

The Last Quiet Thing Your possessions came alive. Now they won't stop talking.

Here is something nobody says plainly: Sometime in the last twenty years, our possessions came alive.

Not all at once. Not dramatically. One by one, the objects in our lives opened their eyes, found our faces, and began to need us.

Correction: it was scrappy but not little. 1500, maybe 2000 people. Which is a TON for out here.

A woman in a sandwich-board sign carries a sign saying "FLIP ME OFF IF YOU LOVE PEDOPHILES" walks next to a man holding a "TRUMP $20.28 PER GALLON" sign. They are both having a fine time with friends.

My best girl and I, out waving signs at the scrappy little #NoKings rally, Līhu'e, Kaua'i, Hawai'i.

Elderperson with bleary eyes, here. I love the community support (demand!) for alt text, and wish that the button itself was more accessible. Why can't it be that honking great thing at the bottom of the interface? #a11y #alt-text #design
