In the book there is another chapter about Product Design, and how communication between product and engineering is paramount to build a viable planetary-scale product. I think most experienced engineer have seen how apparently minor product features have *massive* engineering consequences.
It's its own thing. The book is mainly about improving performance, but there is a whole chapter dedicated to "Scaling, beyond performance". It talks mainly about eng org issues.

Completely understandable. I do quite a few interviews, and AI made it very challenging.
Before, when a candidate was copying, it was kind of easy to spot: he didn't understand the algo. Now, with LLMs, he will give you the best step-by-step explanation of the algo you have ever heard.

I'm currently working on the last revision, which updates the book from Rails 7 to 8. Mostly minor changes, with the exception that now I will cover Solid Queue.
