Local Green Party have come out against LTNs, because there isn't a single bandwagon that lot won't jump on.

Older residents who once relied on regular bus services, axed by Stagecoach after County Council funding cuts, have been forced back into their cars, only to be hit by soaring petrol prices.

Went to Trinity in Clapham yesterday – very very good!
Someone didn’t read
Think it refers to this, which being a different ward doesn’t constitute “here”
This is the worst bar chart crime I have ever seen… just a straight up lie and no scale.
The National Liberal Club being on The Apprentice is the most coverage the Lib Dems have had on the BBC in a while
Opposition leader Péter Magyar at a rally.
Orbán's electoral crushing is a far greater achievement than most people outside Hungary realise.
He systemically consolidated power for 16 years, fixed the electoral map, abused govt power for political purposes & censored media.
The hurdles that Hungarians overcame for this moment were immense.
One thing I’ve noticed an explosion of recently is “No Cold Caller” signs including “No Canvassers”, which is quite sad.
Alas, the nuclear apocalypse will tend to that
Local Green Party has endorsed a former Conservative turned independent...
It’s that time of year again!
Starting to think that slightly more council tax may result in better services
Labour leaflet in Wandsworth claims to have delivered “cleaner streets”. They do know that residents leave their house and see piles of litter daily!
I used to write the WaPo editorials on US-Africa policy, as well on as human rights and politics on the continent.
To describe hundreds of thousands of deaths on the continent as “messy” is an absolute abomination.
Policy also calls for cheaper buses, trains and EV charging
I don’t want to take a photo of them but they have very bedded down with bags. Two people have now asked them!
Train etiquette is out the window. Two younger people are taking up four seats; one has shoes on the seat. Someone asked to sit down as they were standing and they refused.
Graphic showing a man stood at a train platform with the heading 'Our Plan to Keep Britain Moving' - Reduce fuel duty by 10% -Slash bus fares to £1 per journey -Cut rail fares by 10% -Cut VAT on public charging
Cut rail fares. Cut bus fares. Slash fuel duty.
Our plan to cut the cost of living and Keep Britain Moving. ⬇️
I just need every brand to know that not a single April Fools Day post has ever made me feel more positively toward them.
Petition for linkedin to move the 'hint' button on mini soduku. Accidentally hit it rather than '1' and now all my followers are going to think I am a cheat!
Can the BBC just not uncritically post Yorkshire Water’s press releases (and says a lot that Yorkshire Water think dumping sewage 1,000 times *per week* is something to be proud of)
this is actually just the way chris mason talks about politics
How will I possibly spend this all at once
Refuse to believe any MP reads The Independent online, the most unusable website ever created.
Tories being the party that reads the FT the least... how they have fallen
You thought BTS stans were intense...
Glad that action has finally been taken to remove this man as the Reform Party’s mayoral candidate for Hampshire. He should never have been selected in the first place. Antisemitism has no place in our society. Reform need to review their vetting procedures www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/2596352...
I’ve spent my entire adult life campaigning for the Lib Dems, and even they seem to have cooled on wanting people like me to vote for them. What’s the point in spending six years of my life at university if not even the Lib Dems want me!
One thing I find depressing about politics at the moment is that – as an educated, middle class 27 year old with socially liberal views – all the political parties are not only not trying to win my vote, but seem like they’d be a bit embarrassed if I did vote for them.
