Today we celebrated the 35th anniversary of the Aldine ISD Police Department! From our roots to our current team of 70 officers and 24/7/365 dispatch, we’ve grown with our community. Thank you for 35 years of service to the Aldine ISD community!
I have the honor of serving as co-lead for the AASA Aspiring Superintendents Academy for Women Leaders. Love seeing 100s of my mentees now leading districts across Texas and the nation. To those I’ve mentored: I am so proud of your work. To those next in line: let’s keep moving forward.
Our journey began 1/9/22, when 7 women answered God’s call to show up-seeking His wisdom as female superintendents. Since then, we’ve shown up through prayer. This weekend in Fredericksburg, we showed up for Jeni celebrating her engagement. Grateful for sisterhood rooted in faith. #sistersupts

This image serves as a reminder about social media sharing on Bluesky. It features a blue sky background with white clouds and a bold heading reading "REMINDER" accompanied by an exclamation mark in a red circle. The text emphasizes: Bluesky's algorithm is not based on capitalism, so it works differently. Engagement operates differently compared to other platforms. While likes are good, reposting boosts visibility. To support the community, repost content you resonate with to increase its visibility. The message is designed to encourage users to engage through reposting for greater community impact.
Just a reminder that BlueSky works a bit differently. If something resonates with you be sure to repost to let others know it is agreat idea! While likes are great, reposting highlights great ideas for the communities we are building. #TLSky #EduSky #KidLit #Skybrarian #Edtech #Education

Growing up, we would visit the cemetery on Memorial Day & Bigmama would place flowers on graves. When I became a teacher, I Iearned the differences between Memorial Day & Veterans Day. Today and every day, I am grateful for all who served and their sacrifices for our freedom. #FreedomIsNotFree.
“The most important qualities of any educator are not adequately captured on a resume. It is hard to quantify passion, energy, dedication, patience, perseverance, and love… but in the classroom… those qualities make all the difference in the world.” —Danny Steele, Educator
