MARTY SUPREME is fkn fantastic. What a blast. Just the sheer energy and ferociousness of it all, how it never lets up for even a second… I really, really loved it.

The hype is earned.

I think verified parody accounts pulling 300k likes and serious public engagement can be just as damaging as outright bad-faith accounts, even when they’re mocking objectively evil people. It all still feeds into the same misinformation pit and sets a horrific precedent

He thought that sounded cute lol

Sentimental Value - prime example of an acclaimed film that does all the right things and has no noticeable faults, yet somehow just doesn’t move you personally. Liked it, appreciated it, didn’t love it

I think it has the highest rewatch value of the three.

Not putting ‘from Academy Award winner’ in the trailer (which would have been totally justified) and relying solely on Nolan’s name as the selling point, like it’s always been, is such a beast move

I finally saw One Battle After Another last night and I think it might be one of my favorite films ever

Easily the worst scene in the film. It plays like an SNL spoof of what the real moment should’ve been

Honestly, I doubt even the most aggressive bluesky campaign would get any real media attention. We can have our fun here but for most of the world this site remains a non factor.

It can’t be both because one of them actively looks like shit. Simple as that. Also that trailer hasn’t even reached 10M on youtube yet which is fucking crazy for a Star Wars big screen comeback.

A couple of months from now I’ll be seeing Messi in person. Just saying that feels surreal :)

You could make a real case that Claremont’s X Men is the greatest comic run ever

Finally, someone who sees Booksmart the way I do

Yeah the downside of doing prequel stories with these characters is that it all funnels into the trainwreck that is TROS

Every comic attempt has missed the mark with him.

Watched BLUE VELVET. What a beautiful film. That’s two Lynch joints down for me, a lot more to go.

Finally crossed DOUBLE INDEMNITY off the watchlist. Truly a classic that lives up to its reputation.

I think it was the fact that both his biological parents were genocidal war maniacs who wanted him to rule earth, that’s a massive deviation from the norm. I fully expected the film to walk it back, but it didn’t. Honestly, kind of respect that.

It’s great how every big movie or TV show now has to spark a culture war because the absolute dumbest people on the planet can’t handle a simple message rooted in basic human decency. Super fun, not at all exhausting
