Back in the SwSh days I made it very far using a team of Pheromosa, G-Darmanitan (Zen), Polteageist, Hatterene, Kommo-o, Sylveon. I’ve forgotten how much fun it is to actually battle real people instead of the AI, a lot more going on behind the screen

I’m immediately having a lot of fun with Champions, I had 0 interest in this game but it’s actually so enjoyable, maybe that’s because I’ve just got my Goat Polteageist on an early roll. I can see myself going back deep into battling

Those picks might seem kinda weird, but I wanted to make a unique team for this, and wanted all of their shinies to match, which I think I did a good job at. Also I named them all after the Kirby enemies they’re each most similar to.
You can think of this as a post game DTQ, and a silly one at that.

The Scrappy False Swiper of the team, can set any Pokemon up for Whispy with Parting Shot or Taunt to allow smooth entry after lowering the enemy to 1 HP.

This is its base moveset, but Smeargle will be mostly used for countering annoying sets with Imprison to nullify difficult moves like Absorb. Role Play lets it just copy Harvest too :)
