I wanted to like Project Hail Mary (the movie). I loved the Martian (both the book and the movie). But this does not land. it was edited like a tin Tok video, with a cut every 2-3 seconds, Come on, guys.

Random stuff when walking around in London
My highest ever foursquare single check in score: 759 points in one go.
Daylight savings time remains my favorite example of efficient mass manipulation. Asking a billion people to wake up one hour earlier? Impossible. Switching the clocks one hour ahead? No problem! Yet both methods achieve the same end result.
They invented Squads and squad leaders
The highlight of my Foursquare career
Πρόσεχε με την ελληνική esim γιατί πάλι θέλει επίσκεψη σε μαγαζί οπότε χρειαστείς να τη μεταφέρεις σε άλλη συσκευή.
Somewhat surprisingly, there is a very decent Ramen in Athens. Zuzuto! Does not compare with the best London ones but not bad at all.
Trying out a matter over Thread mm-wavw presence sensor today. Let's see if it delivers.

The trick was to basically install a wired WiFi access point per room (4 in total), but only enable 2.4 GHz bands in 2 of them, as that is enough to cover the whole house.
In a milestone in my home networking career, after adding 2 new access points and tweaking around the band settings, all 38 WiFi devices in my house have better than -75 dBm signal, hence appearing all green at the Unifi management panel.
The Lego Sherlock Holmes is really cute. Goes as a book in the library!
The edge of the Milky Way, near Andromeda galaxy (seen in the lower right). Captured last July from Greece using my Canon R6 and a Sigma 35mm f/1.4 lens.
Seen at the Museum of London. It's amazing how different the approach to immigration was just 50 years ago.
Half of the Milky Way, from Andromeda galaxy (the bright spot at the lower center) to the center of our galaxy. Captured with the Canon R6 and a 14mm f/2.8 lens last July from central Greece.
The most interesting, and promising, plot of 2025. Our species now produces more energy by solar than by coal!
Watched Avatar 3 in its full glory, laser IMAX 3D at BFI. Gorgeous looking but man story-wise the 2nd and 3rd movies could have been combined. I do not foresee more movies being made.
Isn’t is sad that the best Christmas movies remain Home Alone and Love Actually from 20+ years ago?
Orion, I am looking at you
A Galician steak
Santiago cathedral: not bad. Not bad at all.
Very happy to see Jonathan Blow's new game FINALLY has at least a trailer youtu.be/OIxuGF6CwnU. The Witness is one of my favorite games I have ever played.
Another Greek novelty: distance signs that include calories burned lol
