The loss of Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva is primarily a devastating tragedy for their families, friends and team-mates.

It's also a huge loss for football. Diogo in particular was a selfless and clever player, an outstanding individual on and off the pitch.

She's one of my favourite players (and being relatively local to me doesn't hurt). A real scrapper. Similar to Ons Jabeur. Her progress in the last year has been huge.

It's been a particularly difficult draw for most Brits this time round.

Incredibly sad to learn that 1957 FA Cup hero Peter McParland has died.

I was fortunate to talk with Peter in the media room at Fulham one day before a game. He was very self-effacing and generous with his time.

An absolute legend who will be sadly missed.

Villa unbeaten at home in their first Champions League/European Cup campaign since 1983.

We beat Bayern Munich, PSG and Celtic, and drew with Juventus.

Paid the price for the last minute goal in Paris and a very poor first half in the second leg.

But we can be proud of them for the first half in Paris and the second half tonight. Toe to toe with probably the best team in Europe.
